ViewSonic Corp. has expanded its range of high-brightness laser projectors in India with the new Luminous Superior series. This updated lineup is engineered for use in ambient lighting conditions and is intended for commercial spaces, educational institutions, and public venues. The series includes two 3LCD models (LSC801WU and LSC601WU) and two DLP models (LS950-4K and LS901-4K), with brightness levels ranging from 5,500 to 8,000 ANSI lumens.

The projectors are built using lamp-free laser technology that provides a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, thereby lowering maintenance needs. The LS950-4K and LS901-4K models incorporate third-generation laser technology to support 4K HDR content. The LS950-4K, which delivers 7,100 ANSI lumens, is capable of projecting images up to 300 inches. This makes it suitable for large venues such as auditoriums, assembly halls, and museums where large-scale visuals are required. In contrast, the LS901-4K, with 5,500 ANSI lumens and a 21:9 aspect ratio, is designed for use in boardrooms, lecture halls, and similar settings, where it supports the simultaneous display of multiple content types including presentations and video feeds.

The 3LCD models, LSC801WU and LSC601WU, offer WUXGA resolution. The LSC801WU model provides 8,000 ANSI lumens and features a 21:9 aspect ratio along with a 1.6x optical zoom, horizontal and vertical lens shift, and keystone correction, which simplifies installation in varied environments. The LSC601WU, rated at 6,000 ANSI lumens, offers similar functionalities and integrates LAN control for centralized management.
