Thanks Coaltrain for sharing all these ads. Brings back lot of memories. Those were the days of press ads with clever headlines and copy. Always interesting to read.

After messing up with my dad's Norge speakers, i landed this in 1996-97 through the magazines. If set up right, they worked exactly as advertised.View attachment 85803

Agree, Owned these for close to 5 years (preowned picked from Ex Fellow Member Celester340 who had them for 15 yrs +) Sold them to trade up to Bose 301 Series V.

Glad you mentioned this. These ads were my first real exposure to good copywriting, and the reason I got interested in advertising as a profession.
Unfortunately, informative and intelligent ads like the one below are extinct. Short attention spans and the constant barrage of content have robbed us of the beauty of the written word.
