Vizio M3D550KDE vs 55" LG LM8600

I think both LG and Vizio 3D TV's are good. The definite edge that LG will have would be the service availability; big factor when purchasing such an expensive TV.

buy a projector instead.......all tvs.... how big they are maybe...just a tv after all...for real big screen no match for a projector..just an idea.no offence.
and I think sony HX picture is much better than LG or anything.....

Actually I have never seen the Vizio TV so its very difficult to compare it with LG. I have seen this kind of TV (55") only in showrooms.

Obviously its a trade off but the person I am following up with has ensured return/replacement assurance for 1 year, although I won't deem it worthy enough as a warranty. The only thing is that I have heard Vizio's passive 3D is very cheap and has an ok picture quality but I also found LM8600 pretty good so I need your opinion on it.

The whole deal has gone damp now. The mug is trying to extort an extra 10K for the Vizio model. @ lake1988 Thanks for the reference. See that is the thing, even though I like the Vizio model by just a tad bit more the present circumstances dictate that going for the LM8600 would be the safer option. But I am not in any hurry, will see if it can be dragged out of the water before giving up.

If you're willing to pay>2Lk then go for HX850...it's the best...no led from any other brand can compete with this.
