VT30 and ST30 officially launched in India

Panasonic website shows the new VT30 and ST30 as being now available.
Prices of older models are sure to come even further down now.
They could have done this 2 weeks earlier..

I'd checked with the Panasonic showroom and they had quoted a price of approx Rs. 115,000 for the 50ST30 (this was the discounted price under the 'monsoon' offer, the MRP is approx Rs.120,000).

I've almost decided to go with the Samsung ps51d550 considering its available for Rs.65000, just need to check on the reflective properties of the screen of that model; can't justify paying that much of a premium for the ST30.

I had a brief demo of the ST30 42inch at the Gurgaon Brand shop. The price quoted to me was 82k with two pairs of 3d glasses. As I was inquiring regarding the cube AC I did not show much interest.

Yes, the showroom is in Pune on Baner Road (near Hotel Mahableshwar). They even gave a brochure which had the ST30 as one of the products with the MRP printed. I don't remember if the VT30 was mentioned in the brochure.

Hi Kittu,

Thanks for the price info. Did you check with the dealer/technician on the warranty/guarentee clauses. While i dont see much issues reported on ST30, i can see some issues with reducing/fading blacks. There are also some videos for the same in the net.

Unlike US/UK we do not have 1 week return policy. So its better to check as to what would be covered under warranty etc.

Can you also tell me if the price quote was inclusive of 2 pairs of 3D glasses ?

Warranty 3 years. Replacement warranty or refund are some things which Indian dealers never talk about .

It comes with 1 set of 3d wear.
