I purchased Vu 32D6545 from Flipkart recently. If the video content has black colours, I see greysish patches.. Supposedly light bleed? Check the image attached.

Also when I connect any external speakers or even headphones to the 3.5mm port in the TV, I hear a hiss noise. Anybody got any idea if this is a faulty piece and need to go for replacement? Will there be any other hardware issues in Vu TVs? Don't want to end up with more problems after getting replacement.

Thanks

If it is not crossed 30days time frame from purchase, call Flipkart and return it. During festive season they might take more than usual time but you shall receive a new set from Flipkart.

Thank you. I have initiated for replacement. Hope the new piece will be defect free.

I also want to thank you because after reading your post I tested my new VU 40 TV, and noticed that if I connect amp or 2.1 HT system to 3.5 audio out of the TV, I hear profound "hiss on speakers, though when I connect headphone, hiss is not discernible. is it a problem with all VU TVs? picture quality is stunning. Now, should I call Flipkart and ask for replacement? I am in a fix.......I better start a new thread ...

Hi.. As per my reading in various forums and reviews in e-commerce site, many have faced hiss noise in Vu TVs. Yes, the hiss noise is not so much via headphones, but also the volume isn't high either.

I'll be getting the replacement tomorrow, I'll update up how the audio performs in the replaced piece.

Also when Vu technician visited, he claimed that "K" series has less problem than "D".. Which model is yours?

Thanks for your feedback, it's really helpful. Please let me know , how your new TV performs. I really want to know whether or not you find same 'hiss' problem in your new TV.
My VU model no is 40D6575,,, Yes it's of D series. Also, tell us what else technician told you about D' series.
And also tell me how this replacement process works. Do they first take away the faulty piece and then after few days deliver new piece ? Or do they send you new set and then take away the faulty unit?

Will let you know the new piece headphone audio tomorrow.

The technician just said that D model had more issues than K. Nothing else.

Also you go to Flipkart order page and then choose return and give your reasons.. Then FK executive will call you and ask for problem and tell they will send Vu technician to confirm the problem. Then the technician will verify and if problem is found he will issue a slip a confirming defects. Then Flipkart will call you and ask you if you need replacement or refund. If you say replacement then they will send you a box piece and when that will be delivered you need to give them defective TV to courier guy. It's hand to hand replacement of whole TV. Not just defective part.

Update: the new replacement piece still has audio problem via headphones port. It's just pathetic thing in all vu models.

Now, if you want to return this unit and want to get your money refunded, will Flipkart accept this? Really felling bad about this. Please keep me posted about your course of action as I am on the same boat; I've sent a mail to [email protected] , let me see what happens.

Yes I can request Flipkart to issue refund. But then new TV in 15k range will not be FHD or if with FHD then it will be just 22 inch. So family doesn't want to go to smaller TV. Will use VU itself

As for headphones audio issues, a forum member posted this. He is using 3.5mm to RCA. Need to check it out. I have no idea how exactly it works.

Apart from headphone jack what is the other options to connect my 2.1 iball tarang speakers to vu32d6535?
Hiss is common on all vu tvs connected to 2.1 speakers but no issues when connected to headphones.
So let me know which cable is best and which brand cable you people using? I saw somewhere 2rca cable is good way to connect.
What is ypbpr and video out how should i connect the cable apart from headphone jack.

Little help appreciated.
