VU head office is in Mumbai at Andheri and is one of the best when it comes to displaying video content...a few select models have good sound output...the rest need to be hooked to external speakers....

VU warranty is limited to 1 year...earlier it was offered as 3 years.....

You could also look at other brands...Videocon also is doing well if you are on a tight budget.....check Toshiba also....

In order to reduce the cost even further and to match it with the premium brands, they removed the 3 year warranty. It can be purchased at a premium.
