Washing Machine buying Suggestion

Not sure whether Bosch WM has a dryer of some type like Air dryer incase of LG/Samsung machine...dryer is must when I am purchasing as the humidity in Kolkata is the main opposing factor when we parch soaked cloths here.

All you have to do is Spin the clothes @ 1800 for couple of minutes and your clothes are semi-dried. That's what I do with my Samsung.

Dryer will use a lot of electricity, keep that in mind. Usually spin dry is effective if you can parch your cloths for 30mins in air. I'm using a LG.

Reliance digital is selling a Panasonic model , tumble wash model of 7kg for 25k....I wonder why they are giving it cheap...they claim it is a discount offer..

That probably is a display piece. I checked with Reliance before buying Bosch and they had a 7KG Samsung for 28K which would have normally cost around 37K and they did say it was a display piece.

Reviving this thread, as I am looking to buy a fully automatic front loading washing machine.
I will be buying the same in Kuwait, with a budget of 25-35,000 INR. Electricity and water are a non issue here.
The main thing I am looking at is provision for shorter wash cycles and efficient cleaning.
Something like this
Samsung WD0704REC/XTL 7.0 Kg Front Load Fully Automatic Washing Machine: Buy Online @ Best Price - Snapdeal
costs around the equivalent of INR 35k here.
I would like to go the Direct drive models which are quiter and seem to have a longer warranty of the motor.
We used to have IFB Bosch in India for over 15 years. It was very good. However the belt needed to replaced quite a few times in the last 7 years or so. Noise and vibration grew to alarming levels as the machine got old.
So I hope the newer direct drives would be better on that front.
Bosch, LG, Samsung, Indesit, Electrolux, fridgidaire seem to be available. I also so Hoover somewhere.
