Yes the bass it a bit lacking, but I find it enough, it tight and well detailed, will add a sub in near future. Mostly the SW150.

Just saw in picture, there are 2 holes, was any bracket there?

No there was nothing included in the package other then the speakers & manual.

Thanks :)

Are the holes going deep inside the box? Then you need to seriously check whether they are there by default..

Anyways congrats on the purchase, enjoy..

^ Thanks, There are two neatly Threaded holes like 1.5cm deep and about 3 - 4mm thick on each speaker, I think they are by default.

@Kg_murali, they costed me 13k in Mumbai.

I finally put the setup together after a lot of clean ups and tweaking, forgot to post the pics here.

Anyways let the pics do the talking.

The Mess before the cleaning that lasted 2 days

Each speaker are about 1.5 meter away from my ears and about 2.5 meters apart, the tweeter is just at my ear point.

Any suggestions on placement of the speakers, there is no place to keep stands or else I would have gone that route already.

I am absolutely blown away with the sounds of these, they blew my old set out of the water and hit it left right in terms of pure SQ, and all these on stock sound card, I cant wait to add a USB DAC.

Hi,
Fantastic setup and looks like you crafted the setup to your taste... More than you are an good photographer too... Nice...:)

Hi,

Yes, +1 to Srinisundar's post. The photographs with the blue background is marvelous, the speakers look sexier. The setup is very neat.:clapping:

From the above, I could imagine your taste and genre of music:)

Cheers!

P.s.: Even I am planning to add wharfdales to my 7.1 setup down the road, but delaying it intentionally.

Nice Setup.
Your snaps makes Norge l00k sexy too.

Looks to me you'r a HEAVY gamer.
Congrats.

Thanks guys :)

svenkateshsmart: Thanks, yea they sound amazing too, and am still using the onboard audio card. They can make a great surround speakers for your 7.1 setup, they go very loud too. Most of the time I never go above 4/10 volume

spirovious: Thank for the tip, I have put the speakers at the furtherest I can. They are like 1.5 meters away from my ears, I think that's a good distance ??.

sbg: I was somewhat a heavy gamer, not anymore. just a hr or 2 a day and am done.

Spirovious, I try to move behind a bit, the sound does change a bit, it get warmer.

Did minor changes to my setup

Hey ANP, Where did you get the lighting done??
Looks awesome and seems to increase black level.. :clapping:

Is it something that can be done by self?? Where to obtain the lights etc? How much does it cost?

Thanks :).

They are CCFL(Cold Cathode FL) specially for PC, they work on Molex connectors, a pair of 12" tubes costs 650Rs or cheaper. I used 2 pairs behind the LCD and one Red CCFL.

Happy to read that changing some position did improve SQ.
In my case ,I keep trying for different places.Spk in open space sounds thinner than kept close to wall.Again maintaining proper position in between spk works wonder.

Yea I keep experimenting with the angle too, when I place the angle away from my ears, ie both speakers pointing outside, I get a much warmer tone, the bass is more toned and detailed that way.

anp, besides stands, there is another option of wall mounting. I guess the holes at the back of your speakers are for wall mounting.
Setup looks quite cool!
regards
