Designing a complex 3-way 4 driver system is always tough and when it is done within tight budget - things get much tougher. Wharfedale 10.7 falls in that category.
When I heard BX2, I found it to be very balanced speakers. At times, some female vocals were sounding a bit nasal but that is it. Overall I liked BX2 more than Wharfy 10.2. But that is for pure 2-channels music and not for HT.
As I found from your post, this is most probably for a HT setup, in that case Whafy 10.7 may have an edge over any budget BS with extended bass line and you can do without a sub to start with.
My opinion is based on pure stereo music point of view.
