This is my first post here.

Recently i ordered two bluray box set from Amazon uk

The Complete Matrix Trilogy [Blu-ray] [1999][Region Free]

The De Niro Collection [Blu-ray] [1984][Region Free]

on date 25th nov.

Can anyone tell me what will be expected time to deliver in kolkata.

One more question i marked percell as gift will it attract any customs.

You will usually get your order around the estimated time of delivery or a few days here and there. Amazon customer care is excellent. If you don't get your order on the due date, contact them and they will help you out. As always when the last mile is India Post or some wretched courier service in India patience and persistence is the key.

Marking the order as a gift does not, usually, appear to make a difference since Amazon will display the order value and shipping costs on the shipping label for international shipments.

That is a question asked by many, including me when I first started to buy from Amazon UK.

Its very simple,
If dispatched through Royal Mail it takes 7-10 days.
If dispatched through DHL Deutsche Post it takes 10-15 days.

As my experience Amazon uses DHL for books, and bulky movie box sets. I have ordered many books and a few bulky box sets like LOST and they were delivered in 10-13 days by DHL.

I too mark them as gift and been lucky most of the times, but that varies from city to city.
I would suggest, order 1 at a time and be off the radar even if its a bit expensive.

If all else fails contact Amazon customer care and they will for sure help you. Customer is the king!!

most of the time it comes +/- 2 days of specified time, at the max you have to wait for 2 weeks I guess, that is what amazon.co.uk will ask , as royalmail do not have tracking number.

It happened to me . when I did some mistake in my pincode while ordering, then it came exactly one day after the deadline given by amazon.co.uk customer care.

I have no experience with amazon.com
