Where on Gods green earth do i find a Yamaha YHT 299!?

Did you get a demo piece . RD told me they only have demo pieces in all the stores . 35K with a bluray is a still a damn good price.

I need to buy some kind of voltage stabiliser for my setup . Anyone using any product that they recommend . TV + AMP + STB + Mediaplayer connected.
 
I use V-Guard crystal plus to connect my Led TV + AVR + Woofer Plug. Any additional inputs would require me to go for another!

I went to reliance digital last week and they only had demo piece available. So i moved to nearby Yamaha Store room who said he has two pieces one demo and another unused. Obviously I went for the unused for 35 K without any freebies.

MGF metropolitan mall 2nd floor @basspunks or something like that, checked last week they have 299 in stock, make a run for it!

I too had bought 299 about a month back as I too imagined that it would soon be hard to find due to the updated (but essentially unchanged) model. The dealer above is one I bought it from - and he himself suggested me not to buy the new one as there is no feature difference but a price increase.

Whats is the best price for this system in NCR? and also at which store.

Does it have USB audio/video playback guys?
 
Most of the Reliance Digital outlets have it. Try the ones in Mantri Mall, Malleshwaram and Cunningham Road and Pro-FX in Barton Centre .

Nish,

It won't play videos, it will play only audio. I guess most of the avr's won't play video, at least in this price range.
 
is there any online store selling Yamaha 299 who will ship to Cochin?Snapdeal seems to have them in stock,but doesn't deliver to Cochin when i enter the pin. :(

A seller in Chennai is also fine.

There is a Yamaha dealer in Nungambakkam chennai who has a demo unit properly setup.But I am not sure if there are stocks currently. I was about to go and pick up one on July but had to stop due to circumstances. Maybe you can call up and check with him on availablity

I will probably try to get it in October.. So I'm interested in knowing the availability too. Keep us posted in case you talk to them.

Edit: Price quoted to me was 36k in July with free installation within chennai limits
