In my opinion, the M44-7 is a better cart in every way compared to the AT95

Only reason to get the AT95 would be if you want something blander sounding

I have never experienced any other TT setup so not very clear but I think bass becomes very aggressive with Some songs. Also don't have any store around to demo other Cart options so relying totally on feedback only.

Try alternate speaker placement to tame your bass issue.

Added Schiit mani phono in chain and every thing became much more musical. Now looking for good interconnectors to get more transparency.
