I want to setup something similar to this at my place.
I could find the normal strip lights,but I want a controller that can flicker to the beat of the music and also provide many options via the remote.

I have seen multi color LED strips in HomeTown store in Bangalore. These strips comes with remote and you can set the color change behavior using the remote controls. I think you can stick the LED strips on the wall behind your TV and use the remote control to create a random multi color effect as seen in the Video.

It was a Chinese product though .

I think we need to do some signal processing via the amplifier to get the flicker.

I have connected many lights and bulbs directly to the amplifier and it was a lot of fun to see the lights flicker with the bass specialty when when the lights were off. I even connected my tyre lock directly to the amp and all the LEDs in it flickered with the bass. Will upload a video soon.
