Sorry. I just checked it over this weekend. Had to borrow a DVD from one of my friend since I did not have a normal DVD lying with me.
The up-scaling quality is pretty good, although I would't say that it is near to the blu-ray discs that I have, but I would say there is definitely atleast 50-60% improvement in the picture quality. Just for comparison, I hooked up the same DVD to my bedroom setup where I have a old 32" TV and a normal DVD player.
