Which is the best home theatre under 1 lack?

Friends I am looking for buying a home theatre system. Following are the details. I have approximate 1 lack budget in mind.
Room size - 14 x 18
Movies - 60%
Music - 30%
Games - 10%

I have an iMac and PS3 which I want to connect in to same system. I am not in to heavy metal or rock music. I watch Hollywood movies mostly. I use Airtel HD channels also.
Some of my friends suggested following options.
Speakers - Jamo Studio series 626 (70,000k)
AV Receiver - Denon X1000 (43,000k)

I would like to know your opinion on this choice. Please help.

hey jamo are good speakers but i suggest that give a try on proson speakers which are made from sweden with good specs. which fall in within ur budget try it out... they are better its my peronal opinion..

Denon Avr X-1000 Is very good for Both Movies & Music...
I have bought both X-1000(5.1 Channel) & X-2000(7.1 Channel)..
Belive me they both are great in performance..This is my personal humble opinion...

For Good Speakers, I will suggest Dali Zensor Series 7
(I bought Zensor 7 -5.1 pkg with sub & Denon Avr
X-1000 & X-2000 three weeks ago & this pkg is
exellent sounding for Both Movies & Music in my
humble opinion)

Pl check above pkg if your budget permits for that.

You will need to increase budget for 5.1 setup with Subwoofer(Sub is must for Movies & Any good sub will coast you around Rs.30,000/-)

I am new to Home theatre world and looking to buy Denon AVR-X 1000 and Jamo S626 with Sub 260. Can u please guide me whether Jamo S 626 will run smoothly and give desired level of sound output on Denon X 1000. Any other suggestion/combination would be highly appreciated.
