This thread really needs a none of the above choice. Well, I'd say no to Samsung and LG, because I personally don't care for them, and now that my Sony has crapped on me after lasting only 1.5 years, I'm not not going to call them reliable either - and I know I'd feel the same if it were a Panasonic.

So being the bitter pile of bile that I currently am. I request the OP to add a "none of the above" or better still a "they all suck" option to the poll!

i dint mean to offend anyone. guys .. mistakenly i wrote the word "all" now unable to edit it.also i dint checked the thread for 2 days as i was outta town to stating it now.

what i mean to say was.. many new technologies were introduced by sony..
ofcourse not all.. however its an audio video forum .

i never thought we had a wider horizon that we would be discussing about the
technology in '' VIAGRA '' as well... should we... ??

many is again hazy word ,very hazy.
yes sony is innovator but now it appers it is not so innovative.
today apple with its limited inventory apperas more innovative than sony!

btw post crt era Sony failed to bring any commercialy sucessful display technology..I never found sonys contribution in LCD or Plasma technology.
