Which TV set for fantastic quality in the 50 - 55" range

Hello Guys,

I'm looking to pick up a 50 - 55" TV within a week. Most of the discussions I read were of the opinion that the ST30 is fabulous for 3D content and the VT20D kicks *** for 2D quality. My budget is around 1 lac. Are there any other TVs I should be considering? Any deals right now at Chroma or other stores?

Care about fabulous 2D experience, not as much 3D. Blu-rays abound

Bump. How about only the 55" range with a budget of 1 - 1.25?

With a budget of 1.25 L hold for the 50VT30D which should be in the showrooms around new year.
