which tv to buy?

Dear hifians i have shortlisted 2 hdtv's.My budget is upto 45k(can't relax even a bit).

1.samsung UA32EH5330R.
2.sony 32ex650

My priorities are the tv should have very good life span(more longevity) and the after sales service of the manufacturer should be very good (pq is secondary).
I am open to buy other models also. Kindly guide me which tv should i buy?

why settle for 32inches when you have a budget of 45k...............you get get a good 42inches plasma!!!

my parents are opposed to plasma because the our room light conditions are very bright.

decide the size of the TV based on viewing distance. 32" might good enough only for 6-8 feet.
For 45k it is difficult for a good 40" TV, is that the reason you are looking at 32"?
What is your usage/requirement apart from budget? For example, for 3D & gaming you will need better refresh rate.
Hope you have auditioned both the TVs you mentioned at the same time running the same video. If not how did you shortlist?
I hear samsung service is not up mark. Someone in our forum complained about dead pixel in brand new TV and the month long pain to get it fixed. It can happen with any TV but if service is good then at least you will saved from the agony.

2. My usage requirement are 80%-sd channel, 5%-hd channel, 15%-watching dvdrips from usb.

Panasonic ST,GT & VT series plasma comes with neo plasma display panels which work well even under bright light conditions. You can get a demo at your dealers place and see for yourself.

I have two sony ctvs which are almost 8 yrs old..never needed to call customer service..hyeah:

Now I have a EX520 40 inch...If u call them they will come in that day..that I heard..

Yes, after you buy the Wifi Dongle. But do keep in mind its just a barebones browser, just like any other Television Internet browser

Sony has the highest number of online content available via sony entertainment network,bravia internet video...out of any other tv makers.

The browser doesn't support flash and its slower then a PS3 browser.It does however have a separate youtube app.

I use the browser only to login to my cable internet service...after that there are more than enough content available...playback also is superb.

I am worried whether to change my existing working crt tv thinking about the life span of led tv(which i am going to buy). I want to know, what is the actual average life span of sony led tv's before it undergoes a repair of huge cost?

Expected life span of LED tv is around 100,000 hours....also sony has 1+2 years extended warranty..

Why are you so much worried about servicing, repair, life span etc. even before buying a TV? Come on take the plunge, discard that crt, buy a hd tv that suits your needs. Life is short. Stop worrying. Enjoy.
