Why not buy Professional LED Displays - Cheap as well

Hi Guys.

Years ago my brother bought a professional display from Panasonic In USA. For audio we used to connect external speakers.

While going through the Snapdeal, identified that Pana sells professional displays in LED as well.

My assumption is professional display should have better specs like contrast ratio, motion handling etc. Price is low as well.

So why not we buy Pro displays instead of consumer products.

Please share your views.

I have always preferred professional displays personally.

There was a lovely Samsung professional display Rs 34,000 for a 32 inch which got sold off in Snapdeal.

The panasonic is great as well.

I am very much happy in having a Pro display in my set up. These are the basic pros and cons that I see.

Pros:

1) Better rated panels.
2) Robust connectivity options.
3) More reliability.
4) Better circuit boards.

Cons:

1) Expensive.
2) All outboard connections are separate board based and hence expensive.
3) Sometimes speakers, wall mount are optional extras.
4) No tuner built in. (If that is a feature you are looking for)
5) Less resale value as market of buyers is niche.

These are what I could think off hand, but I am sure there are many more.
