Hi Folks,

I recently purchased Panasonic plasma P42u30d .....

I got it from dubai for 25k :ohyeah: ..... and was very impressed with the PQ both SD as well as HD .....

Was very confused between a plasma and LED and i am happy that i made the right decision ........

I am trying to connect a usb wireless adapter (asus usb - N10) but the plasma is not detecting it .......

is it like sony which works only with its proprietary hardware or am i missing something here (followed all the instructions as given in the manual)

Please advice .....

come on guys more than 20 views and not a single post ............

i am counting on the hifivision experts ....... i believe there may be also many p42u30 owners so they must hv some idea abt this

i did search a lot for this but no luck ........

u guys are my only hope now .......

What kind of wireless adapter you are using? Does the TV supports it ?. Descriptions in sites tells that it supports only WiFi. So if you are using 2g / 3G/ CDMA wireless adapters they may not work. What does the manual says ?

i did some more digging on this and found out that panasonic supports only a few usb wireless adaptors ..... one from panasonic itself which is very costly and
a specific model from netgear which cost around 4k in india

so u dont have much option but to either go with the netgear one or use LAN .........

Check with Blasto. He has Buffalo Wireless Bridge/repeater which would work like a wifi router for any device and you could connect it to the TV. You could buy it from ebay.in
