Hi!,
I obtained a Yamaha R-S700 amplifier but it didn't come with a remote, which happens to be the RAV25. I am unable to locate a RAV25 remote control unless I want to part with some serious cash (in my eyes). I purchased the RAV-2000 universal remote control thinking it would work as a replacement but none of the pre-installed codes work with the R-S700. I have no idea what the next step is as all I want to do is put the amp in standby and control the volume. I've looked everywhere for questions/support on this issue but to no avail, I cant even locate any hex codes for the remote which is making me feel sad.
Any suggestions???
