Also any ideas how much the final total comes including shipping and customs. I was trying to get the info but darn the webpage doesn't accept my Citibank maestro card number so couldn't get the checkout final total.

Warranty aint a big issue with me and pretty much familiar with technology (I work at Bose.. yea dont kill me )

Dude,

It comes to $295 to ur doorstep. $64 shipping, $61 Import fees and $170 for AVR.
U can try getting the local dealer quote and compare both. Not sure about 371 price here.

Thnx for the headup Siva, however wont they deduct country specific VAT before adding customs and shipping ? I read some one here got denon amp from amazon.de and base amount had VAT discounted .

Btw the same amp here is for 20-22k locally after discounts. Atleast back in ahmedabad it is !

You might need to add the cost of step down transformer as well.

Yep, it is 110V & a Step down transformer is required.

Any clue what the BL stands for? I've seen that in most of the Sound Avenue products as well. $300 is definately a good deal, given that its around 20-22k in India. Not sure if the 'BL' has any catch.

Well might not need the transformer. See the thread atleast the 667/671 seems to have both 110V and 220V with little changes. So this might work for 371 also.

So any possibility of procuring the whole system i.e. YHT 296 for below 30k from anywhere across India.

Checked out YHT 294 for 25k @ Hypercity and am fine with True HD and DTS MA limitation (my ps3 will do the job!) but speakers are downright dismissal. Extremely performance even compared to Onkyo HT 3300.

Any suggestions ?
