Yamaha RX-V373 Playing audio from one input and video from another

Hi,

I bought a Yamaha RX-V373 and want to combine the audio from one input with the video from another input. Specifically, I want to play an Xbox 360 (I have it on HDMI 2) while listening to my music on my iPod (USB).

Is this possible to do? Or is it a feature that only more expensive models have?

Yamaha wont do that at the same time, best option is connect the XBOX directly to TV and you iPad to Yamaha. This way u can play and hear at the same time.

It is somewhat possible. You have to use hdmi for video and assign optical or coaxial to that hdmi port for audio. Analog inputs cannot be assigned to hdmi so iPod connectivity is not possible unless there is an option to get digital out.
