Yamaha RX-V667 AVR for 29.5 k in Mumbai !! Is it a good price?

Guys I have been negotiating a deal for Yamaha RX-V667 from a source in Mumbai. He has offered me a price of Rs 29,500 if I manage to get 10 more orders. This sounds like a kickass deal to me coz I think this AVR is available for more than 40k at other places in India. Even at Alfa Mumbai its for 35k. Oh and this price that this guy has offered is inclusive of warranty. Do u think its a good offer?

Please lemme know if I should take it up and pursue it?

@ anm: I wd find out the price for 1067 and also 671. I hope he agrees to include the yamaha products as one group buy scheme though chances seem slim. Keeping my fingers crossed

Good News ahead so fasten your seat belts !!

The dealer has agreed to club Yamaha products under one group buy scheme !!! I have sent him a list of all the Yamaha AVRs that i have fancied for some time now:

Yamaha RX V3067

Yamaha RX-V1067

Yamaha RX V671

Now waiting for a quote from him. If the price is anywhere as good as the one he has quoted on the Yamaha RX-V667 then we are in for a celebration

Oh and I have also asked him for quotes on some Onkyos and NAD !! Wd be posting his quotes when I recieve them later tonight !! Lets all keep our fingers crossed and maybe pray to our respective gods hyeah:

Guys i have just received this quote for these two AVRs. I wd be getting the quotes for others later tonight and post it here.

Denon AVR-1911 - Rs 34,890 in Mumbai

Pioneer VSX-1020-K- Rs 31,850 in Mumbai

I guess finally we in India are getting a fair deal i mean its still sucks when we compare the price to the price in the US but then I guess these AVRs are around 45k in India so this is a good thing

Is it dealer warranty or manufacture warranty? There is difference in both.
If its dealer warranty, folks residing outside Mumbai had to think twice to get this on plate!!! Its not feasible to ship to dealer in case of any service or otherwise!!
