Yamaha YHT 296 in PUNE

I am planning to buy Yamaha home theater and shortlisted YHT-296. Some reasons to select this model:

1. My budget is max 30K.
2. YHT-296 is cheaper than YHT-298 and I heard performance is similar.
3. Pune has Yamaha service center. Onkyo does not have it in Pune.

Your expert opinions please about my choice of Yamaha 296.

Now, the real problem is almost no one is having YHT-296. All of them are keeping YHT-196. Ridiculous part is almost all Reliance Digital stores are having non-functional sound rooms. Their home theaters are disconnected and expressed inability to provide me demo.

Vijay sales was having YHT-196.

Has anyone bought Yamaha YHT-296 in Pune recently?

Spent entire week going store by store to get audition for YHT-296. But no one is keeping it. Almost all are having YHT -196

What could be the other option of YHT-29?

@padmanabhk Can you mention which places you visited, last month when I visited Vijay Sales they have Yahama 298 or 299 available.

Is YHT 296 available in Bangalore? I saw a YHT 196 at Reliance. One reason I am confused about YHT 197 is the lack of RC / composite video inputs (from the specs I checked online).
I have been offered a Pioneer 522 receiver for Rs 19000. Confuses me even more.

Some of them are keeping YHT 299 but it is out of my budget (costing more than 35K). I was looking for around 28K hence shortlisted YHT 296

Almost all guys are keeping YHT 196.
