Blue ray Player bought in singapore to use in India - Region Hack reqd !!

I bought a SONY Blue ray player here in Singapore and tried to use it in India. But i get a message that the disk is not compatible to play in that Region.

Please advice how to hack the region ? do we have any software for it ? or any other options ?

You can play region free disks and disks from the region corresponding to singapore only. Inform your model number so that experts can give you answer regarding hacking.

With SONY, its almost like impossible/difficult to hack.

what is region Code?
Hardware hacks are expensive and require hardware modification . Insted of that evaluate possibility of buyin other BD player of different region hyeah:hyeah:
