Need to make a decision on POLK AUDIO tsi 400 / 300

have auditioned the tsi 300.....left me really impressed....

Want to know how much difference an extra driver can make in tsi400....

Not able to audition tsi400 due to non availability on demo in DELHI / NCR..

experts who have auditioned tsi400 pls key in your experience/review...

I prefer the Rti Series over the TSi. The TSi 400 is good specially for movies - Any ways please let your ears be the best judge rather than what folks have to say as what one may avoid like the plague others may hold close to their heart.

So audition is the key word. Denon goes well with Polks

I have RTi series speakers, really happy with them.
RTi A5 will be better option compared to TSI300/400. But please note that RTi A5 is a 250W model. 1311 may not be able to drive them well at high volumes.

Audition other makes as well, many suggests Paradigm, PSB Alpha, Tannoy, Wharfdale etc. Polk speakers are considered to be bright speakers and some don't like it.

If you would like to stick to Floor Standers, select a model which will match with your receiver. More drivers means more power requirement.

i think driving tsi400 with DENON 1311 will not be an issue...

Moreover the RTi series is above my budget proportions.....

i found the vocals and bass in tsi series in perfect harmony [to my ears]

plus good looks matched with my pocket makes it an ideal purchase in my budget

I am thinking on two lines now :-
[tsi400 + Denon1311]
[ tsi300 + Polk psw110 +denon1311] At 4-5k extra

i will be sure once i audition tsi400

I saw tsi400 at Topgizmos atta market noida... He also had Jamo c405 for 30+ range (need to bargain with this guy though) , Jamo c405 would be better than Polk tsi series.

The RTi A3 Bookshelves (Rs18.5K) are also good.Nice tight Mid-range & good bass for the size.With a good Sub I am sure U will enjoy them!

yeah i have heard Jamo c405 and they are pretty good too but m inclined to Polk over Jamo

Hey frank... i have auditioned a couple of bookshelves though never got a chance to audition Rti models but my overall impression says FS makes a better and powerful front speaker option .... BS cannot replicate the same ..... ll audition Rti BS if i get a chance to ....
