Both DBP and EAC burn exactly what is fed to them! They neither add to nor subtract from the original bitstream! They are extremely reliable tools. Some ways to check this is to enable Accurate Rip and compare rip checksums with other people's checksums stored on the Accurate db; another way is to burn using EAC or DBP with the correct write offset and rip the track back to hd using the correct read offset and then compare the original and newly ripped files. Altogether, too much work for too little 'bit' gain! I have ripped with read offsets and without read offsets and I have not found any difference, even after listening to close to 200 albums. Instead, spend the time listening to albums!
