Congrats!! what is the screen size and the projection disctance.
Can you share the day light pics of screen and projector mounting ?

Throw distance is about 12 feet and image size is 100 inch. its pretty much the same as calculated by this..

on another note dont get marantz 7007,with the price you will get separates..

Whoever going for wall as screen, if you have a black border around the screen, it will enhance the picture further. It will help stop the light spillage.

A simple DIY will be to get thick black tape and stick it as borders for the screen.

I am getting one in Mid 50s.... thats too good to resist a price...hence..
moreover i want to use 5.1 rc micro for a while with this..

Yes, it was evening... so curtains.. no curtains dont matter.
But room (tube) light was on...

however, i wud admit, you wud need curtains ON in day time. else image will be little washed out... but thats true for even expensive PJs.

Its not washed out exactly,but colors are not properly seen due to Sunlight.

Thanks to the forum.I have purchased Acer 5370bd projector.
A friend carried it for me and I will be getting it in a couple of days.
I will post some pics once I set it up.
