I am not using any of them,so let others answer.H5370BD owners - few queries.
1, Are you using a dedicated UPS for this, or will the home inverter suffice?
Yes its basically both way, table top or wall mounting. Its has feet correction too.2, Can I place this on a wall shelf, 11 ft from the wall and then adjust the image vertically to fit the opposite wall? Just curious, since many of similar setups are ceiling mounted, which will keep the projector inverted, but I may have to place it on top of a book shelf 7 ft from floor, which will sit like how you place it on top of the table.
No issues if you get good high speed HDMI cables.I am using HDMI coupler to use PJ and it plays 3D perfectly without issue.3, Any issues in HDMI input identification, if I use an 8 m HDMI cable. Some forums were discussing about some HDMI issues when they used longer HDMI cables.
It has universal power supply in built. So can be used with 240V or 110V.4, Is the power supply built in, or does it have an external power brick? I have not seen an external one in reviews, but just to confirm.
You can select wall color from setup menu.5, Does it have auto adjustment, if you are projecting to a colored wall?
It needs space to avoid fan failure. So cabinet can be made customized so that during operation, side and top should be kept cool.6, Can I put it inside a cabinet with glass door and provide a small cabinet fan for ventilation? Will it help, as I am bit worried about dust as my HT room is not air conditioned, and still am using the fan which is causing small amount of dust to get accumulated in my receiver, BR player etc. Now I am covering them with small cloth when not in use.
Thanks @spirovious, you helped me to clear lot of doubts. On query #2, I am planning to use it as table top from 7 - 8 ft ht and need to project it downwards like a ceiling mount PJ. The difference is that it will sit straight in this case, whereas ceiling mounted one will be inverted. Will it work?
I think he can stuff the projector along with its thermocoal as is in checkin baggage or stuff it around cloths tightly so that it wont move in any direction should be fine.Guys, one of my cousins friend "might" get the projector from US, but since the original packaging is quite heavy (9 lbs) , he might get rid of the packing and put the projector in his check-in baggage. I am worried if this might damage the projector. Any thoughts. Alternatively he can pay for the extra baggage ie. for the 9 lbs which might come to around 50$ , what should i do.. Please suggest

Leo , my projector was carried by a friend and another colleague's projector was carried by his sis. however the thumb rule of getting anything from outside india is you dumb the packaging. declare it as used.
carry it in checkin- luggage. its small and light-weight and wont do any damage to the PJ unless it gets a sudden surge/shock or dropped off which might damage the internals.
no need to pay extra . for same 50$ get 2 set of 3D glasses and you are good.
My only worry is the way in which check-in baggages are handled in airports. They are literally thrown especially when they are loaded and unloaded from the conveyor belts..
