Do the Acer H5380BD supports full 3D or is it 3D ready only??

either of them support Full 3d .. takes Full input however output is 720p.
also has 2d to 3d conversion with other basic models lack.

Full SBS
Half OU
FUll OU
Frame packaging , sequential frame .

but nowhere its mentioned in the specs of Acer H5380BD that is supports full 3D... Searched a lot..

i realized and checked the diffrence now and yes 5380 is indeed PC 3D ready but not actual HDMI 1.4 full HD 3d on the contrary older model 5370 is FULL HD 3D

Oops.... Thats quite unfortunate in an upgraded model.... Can anybody owns 5380 confirms this??

It was not written with acer5370 as well.Only native 3D support. DL manual to find more.

3D Settings in user manual H5370BD
in 5380-
Yes there is no specific note,but if you go to specifications,you see as below.
Its 3D with HDMI 1.4V
It should confirm that 5380 is a 3D projector.Same is written in 5370 manual.Still 5360 manual is common for many other acer PJ models.So better to confirm before buying.

I Placed order for Acer H5380BD on amazon.com Total $488.12. Use shipping Address In US. it will reach me on 21-APR-14 in india.

Already sent a mail to acer customer care... In the meantime can anyone who owns it confirm is it full 3D or not???

Thanks, Sure, I will share my complete review with this beautiful forum. I Just want to know custom clearance formalities. As my friend carry this type of item first time, he has no idea about custom formalities. it would appreciated if sometone please share custom clearance process.

There shouldn't be an issue.My relatives got mine in Handbag.For small thing they may not object.
If you were planning to use US shipping address, why didnt you order the same from newegg.com for $399.99? You could have saved $88 with that. I guess you missed my previous post on the same offer.

I had discussion with newegg.com executive by using chat. they said, you cant use indian credit card with billing address from india and shipping address in USA. you should have credit card with valid billing address in USA only.
is there any way to use indian credit card (visa) and shipping address in USA.?
Either get help from any friend/relative who has a US credit card. Even you can check with friends who might have returned from US recently. You can pay them in cash. Else, dont worry, you are getting a 720P 3D PJ for $488, which is less than 30k INR, which will cost almost double in India
