How many of us immediately scrolled down the page to find the price of the costliest speakers?

(Now we know why these lists are ordered bottom to top. Smarter content designers will put them on consequent pages 35-30, 30-25... 5-1 making you click to go to the next)

Once I reached the bottom, I slowly browsed back up to see which ones I found aesthetically appealing. Surprisingly, the only one was the no.35, the Wisdom Audio speaker right at the start... but just about. Most of the others looked like they walked out of a Transformer’s movie. Looks like they were designed specifically for shock value. In contrast, I find so many beautiful classic and modern designs in the $500-2000 range! But of course, taste is person-specific.

One parameter that strook me was all high priced speakers need to look wierd. Normal looking Speakers can't be highly priced.

There is a hyperlink at the top of the page in descending order, to save time scrolling (yes, I clicked on the most expensive first ). Now all we need to do is to keep an eye open for someone to post one of these in the AV giveaway thread

I know some of these speakers reside in Indian homes, #31 and #25 to be specific and lot of the other brands have d&d's in India, so I am sure there may be some of the other ones also, though I would suspect the owners may not be music lovers, or even equipment lovers for that fact, just to prove a point to the others in their social circle by quoting how much they paid for them.

Equal or little better to ours but not worse I feel, to some extent snake oil in terms of price but technology involved Not for mass market and have limited audience.

I'd Rather think of buying a Separate apartment which will be thoroughly treated with Acoustic Material with the help of Professionals and buy <3L speakers and set up to listen in the remaining amount...

That'd be a great peace of mind, better SQ , with ROI guaranteed, whenever (my kids) sell the apartment.

Thanks. The price ratio of the costliest amp and the costliest speakers tell us that people spend twice of on the amp as on the speakers. Guess I did right!
