2.1 Stereo system under inr 70,000

I have selected the following:

1. Amplifier – Fosi Audio D2120A (₹27,600)

2. Speakers – Taga Harmony TAV-807S (₹12,900)

3. Subwoofer – Taga Harmony TSW-210 (₹26,100)

Room size - 110 sq feet. Will be using this mostly for watching movies and listening music (gaming occasionally). This setup will be connected to my tv.

Is this a good setup? All these products are available on AVShack.in. Is it safe to buy from there?

Is it not possible to have surround setup for your room size? If it is possible or if you may have plans to upgrade this setup to a 5.1 or any other surround system, then I'd suggest you buy an AV receiver. For music, a 2.0 setup will suffice but for movies a surround setup will be a wonderful experience. So, if you plan to upgrade then go with an AV receiver.

As for buying, compare prices on various websites, make sure to call them and ask if there's any additional discounts that you can avail. Take a look at the classifieds section here for used gears.

Please try to get an audition of that is possible before finalizing the speakers because audio is very subjective thing and it becomes difficult to live with a not-so-good sounding system.
