2024 started nicely and ended with a bang for me.

2024 : smashing superhit movie with fast faced climax in December

Started with Eversolo A6, Atoll IN 100 for stereo listening early part of year
Established 2nd listening setup for TV in hall with bluesound node n132(2024), Fosi audio V3 monoblocks, kef Q3 meta bookself, Onyx speaker stand and schiit Sagaa 2 preamp , all in December so that I enjoy new year 2025 !!!

Moved into new house with a dedicated home theatre and listening room. Didn’t have to add much in terms of gear other than a 4 channel arcam power amp and m&k in ceiling speakers.

The Nagra system came together - got the 300b power amp and phono stage from fellow forum members.

Headphone endgame done with susvara and holo may.

2025 - need a couple of dacs and get rid of all the gear I’ve been hoarding!

I do it every Fri myself. I can't have the house help cleaning the room as it is damn congested

Finally 2025 is here and it has started with a lots of hopes and dreams which are coming to a reality now. My dream to move to a own house is finally coming true. The sheer happiness of moving from rental to own abode is just awesome. So, then there comes a major upgrade or shall I rather say a complete rehaul.

Planning on a complete 5.1.4 setup with 85" TV as display in my open living room / dining. Contemplating on a ust projector / long throw + 120" screen (motorised) and going for a smaller TV for daily viewing (this is going to be very expensive). My old audio setup is up for sale, which is there in my signature.

Speakers selected as of now...
Opt 1 - Polk Audio Reserve R700 (floorstanders) + L400 (Legend series centre) + R900 (for back surrounds) (Leaning towards this)
Opt 2 - Focal Aria evo no. 4 + respective channels
Opt 3 - Kplisch RP-8000F II + respective channels
Definitive Tech 8" in-ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos.
SVS PB2000 Pro subwoofer
AVR - Marantz Cinema 30 / Denon 6800h
Dune hd pro one 8k plus media player
Panasonic 820 Bluray player (continues... atleast I save here)

Any suggestions here, please most welcome. As this is going to be an expensive upgrade and I don't want to go wrong any where.

2024, completely simplified my setup with a pair of active speakers. Sold off / gave off most of my stuff accumulated over the years. Going ahead, looking to further thin down both physically and electronically.

I indulged in the below in 2024,
- RME ADI-2 AD/DA Converter
- Shangling ET-3 CD Transport
- New Sealed box speaker - DIY
- New exponential horn for my JBL Selenium compression driver
- New plinth for Thorens table
- New hybrid phono preamplifier (tube+ mosfet) - DIY

Have completed fine tuning and voicing too. Not planned anything for next year as of now

My first purchase of this year begins with a very modest Arylic S10+ wifi streamer. Hope they are up to the mark with the rest of the gear. Should arrive in another 10 days. Currently my spotify streaming is via BT.

Also completed my long pending 2 DIY itch/ khujili finally.
