Dear Friends,

I have Panasonic 3D tv - Th-p50ut30m and LG 3D Blu-ray player.

And I have downloaded Happy Fee 2-3D movies from internet copied in USB and connected to my LG blu-ray player.

Enabled 3D setting on panasonic tv but i can see two screen on my tv with
message "3D signal detected, put on 3D eyewear and switch on 3D button and enjoy 3D".

What would be the problem.

Check user manual on how to playback SBS format file on your player and/or tv - by 2 screen I guess you are seeing the sbs file - try it out on your compu if possible using a 3d player..

I have LG blu ray player connect to panasonic 3D tv with hdmi cable.

so how to watch 3D half sbs file

Once the message "3D signal detected" pops up, you need to press the ' 3D'button on your remote. It's the one in between 'Menu' and 'TV'.

I bought 3D glassess from one person. Seems that 3D glassess was used to watch 3D movies in theatre.

I have Panasonic Th-p50ut30m model that 3D glassess are not working on my TV.

But same are working on LG tv.

is it a difference of ACTIVE and PASSIVE 3D.

Passive 3D glasses of LG will not work on Active 3D TV unit such as Panasonic 50UT30. You will need to buy the original 2011 Panasonic 3D glasses.

and I spent thousand five hundred bucks each for active glasses??

A 3D visual will always show a split screen in 2D mode. Put on your glasses (original active 3D ones) and switch to 3D mode to watch movies on your 3D TV.

Prior to 2012 Panasonic was using IR 3D glasses. So you need to grab IR Active 3D glasses for 2011 to watch 3D in UT30 model TVs.

From 2012 onward they change it to RF(Read Bluetooth) 3D glasses with a common protocol so that you can use glasses from other brand too. So far Samsung, Panasonic and Toshiba glasses are compatible and among them Samsung got the cheapest pair of glasses.
