I am already in line to get one of these. It can run with a mobile phone charger with micro USB, is big as a credit card, has HDMI out and can play 1080p. What more can you ask

Doesn't seem so.
HD audio bitstreaming is still an issue with Linux. Few people have reported hacking and getting success with HD audio bitstreaming, but it has not been tested. With the minimalistic distro that this would come loaded, it doesn't seem likely.

Linux base media players like Xtreamer have solved this problem for specific chipsets.

So, while this is a problem for Intel/AMD based solution; quite a few ARM based chipets have HD audio working thanks to Media player and android demand.
