Look for the used gear....that is the best bet or you can go for new electronics and used speakers since there would be much technological changes in speakers. Tech in electronics keeps on upgrading. Look for Different brands in AVR like Yamaha, Denon, Pioneer, Marantz, Onkyo etc. I am sure there must ne some AVR in these brands which would do atmos at entry level.
