50ST60D- Bangalore purchase

Hello,

I am planning to get 46" or hopefully convince folks to get 50" Plasma.

I saw many posters from Bangalore interested in 50ST60.

May I know prices you have received/quoted back?

I would prefer to buy from Koramangala...

I'm in... Last week they had called in from Brand shop koramangala..

Quoted 1.17lac + pre home theatre.

then checked with devi interntation, sales guy mentioned they can give at a better price once they get the model.(Oct first week)

I have visited brandshop Koramangala multiple times but could not find ST60 on display. They had X60 and S60 on display. Their price for S60 was much higher. I guess for ST60 also price will be higher in this shop.

What could be the best price from Devi?

But i feel, we have to inform them in advance for bulk deal.

Modern world quoted the price as 1.1 lakh over the phone. They are also expecting stock.
Last year ST50 was available just below 1 lakh.
Any possibility of bargaining if it is a group purchase without any Home theatre or freebies ?

I saw it in flesh at Koramangla Brandshop last week. Was really impressed with picture quality, even while exposed to bright sunlight. Regret for delaying the decision to purchase :sad:

you all better be careful. you are buying a tv from a brand that is abandoning warranties for plasmas now. Whatever you get as warranty documentation will be worth nothing since all they will buy you are going to be false 'callback' promises. I am still waiting for replacement of my panny plasma since 45 days. It has been more than 20 days since they 'approved' the replacement.

Are you waiting for 2012 model replacement??
Can you pls give some info on ur issue..it may help us understand the real issue here..

2013 model. i keep calling them everyday and every other day, a new much more 'responsible and concerned' sounding guy comes along, gives reassurances and never takes my call again. I lodged complaint on 12th august early morning. till date, no replacement and no time period. I don't want to go for a refund, when i know that st60 is basically the model i would want to buy if i was in the market for a tv today.

it's good that people here have undying confidence in panasonic. but apart from poor and overpriced product range, they are now clearly skirting warranty issues too. One of these days, I am going to go down to their gurgaon office and do a 'sit down' till they fix this mess.

Spoke to someone named Girish in Great Deals, koramangala. He had called me after i enquired JustDial for panasonic dealers. He was willing to give 50st60d for 1.035 L earlier and yesterday he said he can bring it down to 1.02L if we offer to buy more quantities. I have not heard of this company - great deals (he claims to be a wholesale dealer). He apparently has stock.

Believe last year the same scenario existed for 50D and then it came down to 91K + free home theatre in Devi International for Diwali.

If there is someone counting folks for Devi international group deal, count me in please.

Coming in from domlur, thru inner ring road, keep straight after crossing the sony world junction. At the next signal, on the left hand side, the corner shop.

Not sure if they have the latest models. Few weeks back, the st60 was not in stock. Even the led panels like e6 was not in display at that time.

Brand shop is in between sony world and Ezone on the left side if you are coming from sony world juntion.
S60 is available there. ST60 is not yet in stock.

Asked me to contact them next week.

Panasonic brandshow rooms guys confirmed the availability during diwali.

Hi

Panasonic Sales Manager Mumbai informs that the demand indent is so low vs other models that they cannot say when stock will reach and how much to be allocated to each city.

For example TH 60S60D (not ST60) is already sold out.

Dealers who don't have stock will play dirty and offer you a price knowing they have no stock. Ask them to commit and they will back out.

For those interested 2 PCs available at Panasonic brand shop at Ghatkopar and 2 at Mulund shop.
