I think HX750 is a good performer and if it meets your budget you should seal the deal. But you should be aware that the new range are expected soon, in about 2 months or so. The new range might have a better 3D images and also will have passive option as well. So take a call and act accordingly. Anyway all the best.

W9 (KDL-55W900A ) - Flagship - - $3,299.99
W8 (KDL-47W802A / KDL-55W802A) - High End - $1,499.99 / $1,999.99
W6 - Midrange 2D and R4 - Entry Level.

Among that KDL-47802A comes in my league perfectly with Passive 3D and 47" for $1499.99 (Probably we will get it for under 1 lakh here).

@Dhanan - I guess that's the reason why the price has gone down drastically. I had got a quote of 99K from Sony Showroom Chennai a month back.
