No, its different but simlar.
Store mode has contrast 100 along with all processing turned and few more tweeks to make the TV shine amidst the LCDs.

Mate.....more then the price guess he should be happy that he atleast got the set. The icing on the cake here is that its brand new piece looking at the kind of sets available in the market now....
I think i might one of the LAST folks to join the VT20 gang, got a piece from Croma Mumbai to Bangalore. Stroke of luck and thanks to this forum. Saw that hours running was zero and works fine. Only that when playing one movie there was jarring in sound, could be the known issue with speakers or one off. Anyways will run through 5.1 so will never need TV speakers.
Now gotta learn and read a LOT to understand its features, but any posts/threads with quick pointers and Tips and Tricks? Else gotta go through the loads of posts on this favorite plasma of many

Right about that, i had given up all hopes in bangalore, posting here too asking if anyone knows who has it, but no replies. I had then decided to wait and buy ST30 post the budget, but lucky for me got the better one and as you said a new piece. Had seen a used on at Croma BLR that had run 1k hours and they were quoting a higher price!! I offered 60K but later decided not to follow up as 1K hours is a lot.( almost 4-5 months used)
No piece avail now, quite certain nowhere in india.

Go ahead and try it out, ashish from croma mumbai, his number is listed in this thread as i got it from here. Did not store the number as was a temporary interaction with him. How do i know- he told me that they don't have and this was because a customer cancelled his booking
