A good 50" Full HD Plasma under 75K?

wait for a while , let the Panasonic GT30 and Samsung D6500 get introduced in India, these plasma will cost approx 80-90k for 50" is what i am guessing.

If you want to buy immediately then get the LG PK550.

The LG PK550 is out of production. The best option as of today according to me is the Samsung 50C550 or the 50C650. I own a 50C550 and is absolutely great.

Samsung 50C550 is about 74k at Samsung outlets

that is quite high, it was avl for 67-68k 10months ago,and the higher model 50 c6500 was selling for 67.5k in this forum , search and you will get the contact details

That was a special deal price and it is not available no more, normally that tv sells for approx 90k.

any body waiting for d series like me . I am very much interested in the 51d550 which is priced at 1160$ in the statesh ow much will it be priced in india??I also got the 50c6500 with vaibhav's special offer but i developed problems and went in for a refund.Loitering around with the kalaignar tv now.

Why so and where from? I personally had bought a 50C550 for Rs. 68,000 almost a year ago, ie. in May 2010, if I remember correctly. I later replaced it with the 50C6500, which I bought in the special deal from 'Vaibhav' for Rs. 67,500.

As its a discontinued model and they should be selling it with heavy discount now. I will check with local Samsung Sales Manager on its pricing. LG PK550 should also be priced similarly.

can eleaborate what was the problem with 50c6500
I developed vertical and horizontal lines on my plasma ,they were translucent and were only visible during fast moving scenes like a quick pan in a football or a cricket match. They were also visible during bright scenes ,tried to ignore the problem for a few weeks but finally gave in to the pressure and pressed for a refund. It also seems that i am the only one with these problems with vaibhav's stock.Man,the odds of that happening ;).I feel like i am the most unlucky cat in the world right now.

Both offers are still available , Do you want one ? :)
Are you sure the Samsung 50C6500 is still available for Rs. 67,500, because if it is then it should be a no brainer. I assure you that there is no better tv that you can buy in India for that much money. Where is the TV available for at that price?
