Nice one dude ..... I had something to keep a track of my movies seen only for my desktop, was looking for something to keep a track online. This one looks good and ability to import from IMDB was too good .... Thanks again ... :)
 
For some reason I am not able to import all my checked movies .... I have 63 in IMDB and the site is importing only 33 ... any idea???
 
There is something wrong I cannot figure out........ I rated few more movies at IMDB that I have seen making the total to 118, but only 15 more were imported making the total at imovie to only 49
 
I think I got the ans in FAQ ...

What do I do when I cannot find the movie I searched for?

At the moment we only list those movies that are in the various top lists, but we are working on a system that will allow you to add any movie you'd like. The answer is thus: be patient :)

Damm that does not serve the purpose ... wont give the exact data of movies I have seen ...... :( and I was like yeeeppiiii
 
Sam.. ye all the movies are not listed yet... but very soon.. it will go 100% insysc with IMDB

i have used Collectorz or something , during divx download days and saving them to dvd was such a pain.... it was a tool similar to the one suggested by shailenderb... but Icheck is far ahead of this...

Award...Suggestions... makes it real worth a click...

It takes the burden off me for tracking all lists for ideas. There are now a good no of movies added to my watchlist.
 
I generally use IMDB to keep track of movies I have watched. But the feature of this site to suggest movies looks interesting....I would surely check it out and lets see how it goes! :D

Update: Out of 109 movies on IMDB it just updated 40. :(

Been at the site for far too longer than necessary. This site has sort of rekindled my passion for watching good movies again. I've a few small aims now:

  • Would try to break into the Top 3000 (22,400+ users as of now). I know it actually means nothing at all. But, I've sort of liking for the numbers game.
  • I have 132 164 movies (and counting) in my watch list. Would try to see as many as I can over the next one three years. (Edited portions in Bold)

Edit: May already be within #3000. But need to wait for confirmation tomorrow morning. Interesting journey from hereon.

Well! I got 23 awards as of today morning. Healthy competition? ;)

I am sure lot of folks here would do far better than me; just need a bit of patience to do all those checks.

Actually I am using MY Movies 3, but the thing is I have to manually add movies and then syncing it with online, .....there is no way i can directly add movies online (as a free application), Its a tedious task, what I like with icheck movies is the ability to get movie information from IMDB, that is cool (if it takes all movies), coz I only have to rate the movie in IMDB that I see, and then just import .... plus the rating system is nice touch as well....
I am looking at coolector ... lets see

The interesting thing is we have some overlap. But, you have seen about 200+ movies not seen by me. Interesting way to keep tab on films to see.

Yea you are right .... I see that you are almost ahead of me in all IMDB categories ... except All time worldwide boxoffice hits .... and coincidently we are absolute equal in sci fi ,, 52% ... lol .... But I bet I will beat you in the shear number of movies seen ..... :-) .... This is fun ... :D
