about dead pixel on LG LCD

hi friends my LG LCD 42LD460 has got a one dead pixel at the center of lcd. it is in white color, any of you guys faced this problem

well i called the cc and they sent a service guy he told me that they will change the panel. he told me to bring the lcd to service center . so i am taking it to center in next month i.e june because as of now i am busy. he told me that they will change entire parts except power supply:sad:

Do you still have the warranty left ? Speak to some seniors in CC , they might arrange for an inhouse fix/repair at your place ,unless too complex.

warranty is still upto november 2011. well about repair. my home is about 70km from service center it is in district TUMKUR my native is taluk post.so service guy said that they will not able to bring the parts .

Are you mad? Ask for a replacement if you still have warranty on the TV, do not settle for the repair thing. They shld give you a new TV or refund full money.....

then i will call the cc and get the information about this , are you sure that they will give me a new tv just for one dead pixel

Why not? Speak to CC and insist on refund / replacement.

when i searched through the net i found that ,LGs policy on dead pixel is differs from country to country. they will exchange the tv only when 3 or more dead pixel
