Received the projector today via Amazon Aramex service... impressed by the service. Installed it temporarily and first thing heard from my wife and daughter is.......WOW....checked 3d as well and again WOW..it is a great projector for the price.

A big thank you to JSANAND who started this thread and all the enthusiastic FMs who provided wealth of information.

Projector will be packed after a couple of days and will be installed after i shift to my new home.

I am looking to procure 2 pair of 3d glasses for now. If anybody can help or get it for me through US that would be a big help. Prices here are insane.

thanks for the inputs guys i got the projector from newegg with the 100inch manual screen thrown in free @ USD399.99 shipped thru aramex shipping cost me a bomb as package weighed 30lbs i am waiting for my 3d glasses till then enjoying movies in 2D.. going the amazon way seems more cost effective learnt from my experience

Definitely not. He has already finished couple of movies by the way. It will give me also an assurance that there is no issue with the PJ.

yes you are bang on cost me twice its value even though it was a free add on

@ All - I am planning to go for a UPS for this projector, I remember FMs purchasing 1KVA UPS for this PJ... I went to a shop today and he said that the inverter cost 5.5K and I have to purchase the battery separately for 14K.. I am sure he was trying to fleece me... I am planning to get a normal desktop UPS to go with this PJ... Will this help ?

Got my projector yesterday through aramex. It's an awesome product. Thanks to all FMs and special thanks to ironhorse for taking my calls. When I ordered on amazon, I gave my correct pin code but when i saw the tracking, the pincode was somewhere in calcutta, so i had to call them and correct the pincode, dont know how amazon mismatched that. but the product delivered safely.

Guys,

On the Sainsonic website there are 2 variety of 3D glasses.

One is with a rechargeable battery and the other is with a replaceable CR2032 battery.

Which is better in terms of battery performance.

note : the rechargeable one is 30$ lesser (for a pack of 4 glasses) than the CR2032 one.
