this is my first post here and in anticipation of useful advice and opinions!
I am from delhi and a novice when it comes to av receivers and speakers however i have done some googling hence i have gotten some idea about how it all works! I am keen to have a 5.1 ht system in my house with a good av receiver. But, since i am very tight on budget i would like to start with 2.1 system comprising of good bookshelf speakers and sw for yamaha rx v573/473 which i have shortlisted. I would expand it to 7.1/5.1 later when my pocket allows for it.
I am a music buff more than movies:
Music - 80% - rock/soft rock/sufi
movies - 20% (dvd/tatasky hd)
for speakers, i have zeroed down on following (basis only specs as of now):
Budget is 10-15 k
room size 20 x 15 or something...not sure..,its more rectangular.

whaferdale diamond 10.1
for sw: (budgets around 15k)
polk psw 110
sonodyne roarr 210
pls let me know which one one goes best with yamaha receiver i have picked.
I would also like to know where i can buy in delhi with good deals. I have read on posts here that readers have gotten good deals (10-20% discount on mrp). Basically where can i bargain good. (no grey market stuff).
