Airtel HD Error B001

Hey Guys, I have been getting B001 bad signal error on my airtel HD STB for a few days. I called cust service, the guy came and he tried everything from antenna to STB and nothing worked. He didn't know what else to do so he told me he will send another guy tomorrow.

This is more perplexing than any other technical problem I have seen myself. I would think there is only a handful of things to check in a Dish with cable connecting to STB and none of them worked. So I have no clue what the new guy will come and do.

:sad:Meanwhile if you guys have any idea on what can be tried, please do let me know. I am connecting to a Samsung 6 series LED via Denon DHT 390XP HTB.
 
I have found the same kind of error in my friend house. We also tried something to fix them but no luck. I have inform him to call the customer care. Hope they help. I will keep you posted if his connection gets fixed.
 
I get this error on a few channels.

The support guys have spent 3 days at my place to fix it w/o solution.

The only solution which seems to work is to:
1) Navigate channel by channel to the next-but-one channel. i.e. if you are getting his error on channel 100, change to channel 101, then 102
2) Directly switch to channel 100, it should work
3) If not, go to 99, then 98 and then switch back to 100
 
hopefully somebody has rotated your LNB, which was the case for me as i stay in shared flat and not my own.
just chekc out the exact degree alignment on any working airtel dish and get back yours to the same, if thats the problem.
