The ASR thread seems to be the only source of information as of now. It'll be interesting to see how this fares against the SMSL A300.

I learned something new. This is a full digital amplifier. No DAC inside. It directly converts usb/coax/spdif to PWM and outputs it. So the analog input is the worst because it requires an ADC to convert the analog signal to digital.

A typical class D amplifier modulates an analog signal with a triangle wave to create a PWM signal. The input of the full digital amplifier is only digital signal. However, it is inconvenient if analog signals cannot be input, so we have built in an ADC that converts analog signals to digital signals so that RCA input is also possible.

The chip costs just 9$. Wondering why Indian manufacturers can't buy such chips and start making such amps giving a touch competition to SMSL, Sabaj and others?

As per my understanding, the brands you’ve mentioned send in their products to ASR for review. These manufacturers (the marketing team) also seem to actively participate in forum discussions.
