Annoying hissing sound on Tata Sky HD channels

Are you guys getting an annoying hissing sound on most of the Tata Sky HD channels. I was watching the movie Billu today and was getting an annoying sound during the last 1 hour of this movie. I have experienced such hissing sounds also on other HD channels quite often. Are other TS HD users experiencing similar problem? Has anyone complained to TS officials yet?

Nopes.. I do not get any hiss on the HD channels. I feed the audio to my AVR over coax spdif using a cheap RCA cable. The AVR reports Dolby Digital for all the HD channels and regular stereo spdif for the sd channels.

are you sure about the hd channels part? check again and report.
what exactly i mean to say is that is the so called hissing sound there all the time or does it come often and lasts barely 1-2 seconds?

have you checked NDTV 24/7, WB, MTV for same hissing sounds?
if yes then report, otherwise check and report on the forums?

Your STB is HD or HD+ ?

All I've noticed on the sound for HD channels, is that it drops out sometimes. I have to rewind a bit, and bring it back to Live TV to regain the sound. This has happened while listening to sound from the TV (through HDMI). While listening on the receiver yesterday (via Coaxial), suddenly there was noise output instead of sound, which was resolved with the same technique. This issue was not there in SD channels and not there in the ICC WC Finals in HD either. It is quite infrequent and unpredictable.

Today in Star Movies HD, Daybreakers movie sound was dropping every two minutes.
I have the TS HD+ box with latest software.

You are trying to fix something which can not be fixed that way! Its an issue from the broadcasting either from TS or Star and exist in Live as well as Recorded content. So its just your perception that such technique works for you.

Since yesterday there has been terrible audio jitters and complete dropout for several seconds randomly. Hope it gets fixed today.

To answer OP's question, I do not notice such hissing sound other than these drop outs which seems to exist on virtually all channels currently on TS and it has worsened on the new HD channels.

yes, as prakey said, there are lots of audio drop outs and audio jitters for every few mins on the HD channels...not sure when they are going to fix it

loads of audio drops and burst of erratic sound every 5 minutes.

audio drops every 1-2 minutes for 5-7 seconds..

most affected star movies HD...

How about jitters on most of the channels? I haven't got a chance to watch TV today
