any reviews on sony HTiB?

I am new to this forum and wanted to build a good sound quality HT system . My requirement is both music ( 50%) and movies(50%). i went around most of the post's and found that building separate system is better than HTiB's .
Most members have suggested AVR and 5.1 channel speaker systems.
Since my budget is 50 K . Separate systems look too pricy at this point of time .
My query is
can i buy a HTiB from sony (model BDV-E3100, price 25k) , sound seems ok but is it too bad compared to others like wharfy DX1 ( i have not tried) etc
if i replace the front speakers with good BS like wharfy 10.1 . Will this make any improvement in the sound quality?
Where can i audition systems in Bangalore?

One reference thread for 50K setup is given above, remember that off the shelf sony HTiBs cannot be easily connected with separate BS later on, the main problem will be impedance matching where mass market products usually provide 4ohm speaker support in their amplifiers and BS usually start from 6 ohms or more of 8 ohms and you will have to carefully get a matching done with lot of effort. Better buy components separately.

Or you can buy a premium HTiB from Onkyo/Denon?
I haven't heard Sony E3100, but going by the consumer electronics companies' reputation Onkyo/Denon should be wiser choice even if it is HTiB.

i would like to buy separate components if it make a lot of quality difference. Also the advantage of upgrading later looks more in it.I will for now compromise on center and surround speakers ( as suggested by some threads )
can you guys suggest :
good BS /FS ? --20k
can i ignore the woofer if i buy a full range FS or BS for now? or suggest a good quality sub? -10k
Budget 5.1 AVR ? - 15k
Budget Center and surround.-5k

As informed by Saikat/Koushik - did you try those.
For your budget of 50K you can check there are various options here Home Theatre Packages
15K - AVR not possible. Center/Surround - 5K not possible. a good quality sub - 10k surely not possible.
All the above may be through the "used" route if you are interested. Why don't you check the above link, then go for a demo in various showrooms here in bangalore and you can decide.

In 5K you can get a cheaper combo of center and surround from Yamaha, not that great quality but at least better than toy-ish mass market "Tallboy" speakers. It is Yamaha NSP8900, I am using as my rear surrounds, not bad, centre is spare for now.

Also if you add the 10K of your sub to your AVR budget then in 25K - 30K you can get a decent AVR to drive BS. Later on add a sub, upgrade your front BS to good ones and move your old front BS pair to rear surround position (the advantage of buying component separately).

Yes, I too use that center surround from Yamaha. Quite decent for the price. Looks good as well.

guys...i just brought wharfy 9.5 from one of FM's. ..now plz suggest me good avr's which can drive these FS's and also help me build a HT around these...
Also let me know if i a AVR has an option to in drive in both stereo mode and 5.1 mode...

AVR does have option to play in Stereo and 5.1 mode, remember that in stereo there is a mode called Direct which optimizes stereo play (in Denon), similar also exists probably in Yamaha. In your budget may be slightly above you will get Yamaha 473 and Denon 1713. Why not? For a reference you can start with Denon to check the same.
