Anyone have tried Tekfusion Twinwoofer earphones (Bangalore based indian brand)?

Hi,
I heard about this earphone for the first time today. Then I went looking for reviews but except for few user reviews (which rated this earphone as very good) I couldn't find any expert review yet. Any of our inhouse IEM experts had a look at these phones? The reviews by users suggesting them to be very good for the price and they are priced at Rs 1200 at Flipkart.

I must say that I'm tempted to try it out as it's cheap but at the same time I want to know from experts first.

I purchased these from Retail Mart because i could get some credit over there on purchasing the item. Personally, i'm happy with them. They're slightly as good as the ibeats, which are almost three times their price!

I was a little tempted because I have not tried a true Indian brand yet. It did not make sense in the end, because

a) I am a little tired of writing reviews. Even then, without having anything in the same price range, it would not be possible to do a comparison / write a review.

b) Personally, I am looking more at the top of the line stuff. Buying a Tekfusion would have meant that I would mostly sell it losing a few hundred bucks in the process.

Otherwise, I'd have got it a few weeks ago.

From the review posted, it seems to have a V-shaped signature, but I couldn't gather anything more.

Hmmmm I guess I'll give it a pass then . Wanted to try it as it's an Indian brand and looked to be VFM. BTW, if I happen to buy it then I can send it to you Santhosh. if you want to try it. But somehow I think I'll save the money to buy the Alessandro. Yeah, I'm listening to Headphones much more than IEM's these days..

Well, i owe teh Twin woofers. They are way better than my ibeats, which cost me like thrice the amount. :yahoo: Plus, their sonic signature is way better compared to the sennheiser street series, and the skullcandy ink'd series.

I'm not into reviews also, but these earphones are pretty great for this price. Just my 2 cents And i would highly recommend it to anyone who love a balanced sound signature.

Got my pair delivered , Nice Packing , and look wise also good , but the weight is little heavy when i wear . 1 ear tip is defected received in packed box. Put the same for burn in process let's see how it's perform after burn in.

Also has anyone of you guys using this with Nokia phone, Samsung Galaxy Ace and i-pod? I am primarily looking at buying these earphones to use with these devices, so your guidance will be helpful !!

Till the time i am happy with the performance , Yes i paired the same with Ipod and SGS 2 & SGS it's good but not great like Klipsch and Brainwavzzz , One more thing would like to share with you guys it's not very comfortable compare with Klipsch & similar Earphones , Still the burn in process going on almost completed 20 Hrs wait for 20 More than compare the results .

not tried the tekfusion.. but for a bit more you can pull off the trigger on the brainwavz pro-alpha , else look for audio technica ck50 (alert : these babies are bass heavy) both of em are around 1600 bucks.

esanthosh will be a better guide for you in this case.. he is the IEM guru.

I did, and I am not glad that I did. I completely went on damn reviews of the same product. Really ordinary peace of crap, In 1500 Bucks u can get any decent ear phone. I really got hurt by shopping online; you should check the thing especially which is boasting too much, burn in is another shit thing about this. I dont think there is a true review around. They are getting paid for it. I bought it becoz I thought something really Indian is coming up. I used it with my iPhone, you know I promptly called flipkart that I dont want this crap. Well they cant help they can replace it if defected and well replace it with the same crap. I lost my money. And you know nothing can be God, you cant find any negative review of this product wow man what a marketing team. Your pair must be having a fault mate. These pairs are awesome unlike others, especially with their contemporary style and outstanding audio.hyeah:

Hi i wanted to know if any one has TEKFUSION TWINWOOFERS IN-THE-EAR HEADSET (BLACK) with mic. Certain Reviews say that they have up the build quality but what about the sound. And any other suggestions in a similar price bracket with mic

Using the same from last 1 year approx, and served me without any issue till date.. Sound quality is good.... there are many other option is available in similar price band, eg... skullcandy, Sony, Sound magic etc...

Its horrible ! I've tried it due to escalated review from flipkart (i dont know what type of reviews they post without proper knowledge of audio). The earphone have hell lot of bass, but seriously lack build quality & the higher side are too bright that you cannot listen to a song properly without ear fatigue. I used it for 10 days & returned n claimed refund from flipkart. Sennheiser is always better in that price tag, a big no no to Tekfusion
